October 2015:
amciss limited completed an AS/RS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) project for Jaguar Land Rover at their Castle Bromwich facility. amciss limited was responsible for writing the PLC and SCADA software for the 4 x 10 ton, 8m high, double table stacker cranes from MIAS along with full commissioning and customer acceptance. This was JLR's first AS/RS system and safety was paramount. All software was to the Rockwell DCP standard (Diagnostic Control Programing) which is widely used in JLR for standardisation. Control of the system is performed by 5 Allen Bradley L73 GuargLogix Processors. Operator Interface is provided by multiple VersaView 1250 panels again to the DCP standard.
February 2015:
amciss limited completed work on JIT (Just In Time) projects for Jaguar Land Rover at their Solihull facility. amciss limited was responsible for writing the PLC and SCADA software for the Seats feed to the production line, from delivery lorry through to fitpoint on the factory floor. This also involved full I/O testing and commissioning of the complete system. All software was to the Rockwell DCP standard (Diagnostic Control Programing) which is widely used in JLR for standardisation. Control of the system is performed by 3 Allen Bradley L73 GuargLogix Processors. Operator Interface is provided by multiple VersaView 1250 panels again to the DCP standard.
